WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), a member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation, released the following statement applauding news of three Federal Highway Administration grants totaling $8.1 million awarded to the Nevada Department of Transportation.

“Over the past two years, severe weather storms and flash floods have resulted in widespread damage in northern and southern Nevada,” said Senator Rosen. “I applaud the Federal Highway Administration for awarding the Nevada Department of Transportation these grants to fund much needed infrastructure projects to restore damaged roads and highways to their pre-disaster conditions.
