Rosen, Cortez Masto Applaud $235,000 Grant for Wildlife Corridor Improvement

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) released the following statement applauding the Department of Interior for disbursing $235,000 in funding to the state of Nevada through its U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program. These funds will enhance habitat for big-game species, help control invasive annual grasses, and reduce risk to migrating animals.

“Nevada is home to a diverse range of majestic wildlife, and it’s our outdoors that makes our state so special,” said the Senators. “We’re grateful for the Interior Department’s assistance in helping to preserve the habitats of Nevada’s wildlife, and we will continue to work together in Congress on legislation that protects Nevada’s rich and diverse ecosystem.”
