Rosen Helped Secure Funding Through Bipartisan Infrastructure Law
WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) applauded news that the U.S. Department of Transportation awarded $2 million to Nevada to support improvements along I-15/Bonanza Road and F Street in Las Vegas’ Historic Westside neighborhood. These improvements will focus on enhancing pedestrian access by installing wider sidewalks, lighting, and curb extensions to make pedestrian crossings safer and shorter.
“The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which I helped write and pass, continues to provide critical funding to support Nevada’s infrastructure and make our streets safer,” said Senator Rosen. “Making sure that Nevadans have safe and accessible roadways is crucial for our communities, and I’m proud to have secured this critical funding.”
Senator Rosen has worked tirelessly to ensure Nevada gets its fair share of federal infrastructure money. As one of the authors of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, she made sure Nevada had a seat at the table and got federal funding for infrastructure projects. As of November, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law has provided Nevada with more than $1.2 billion for Nevada roads, bridges, roadway safety, and other major transportation projects.
