WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) announced that $60.9 million will be allocated to Nevada airports, including more than $46 million for Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, more than $6.9 million for Reno-Tahoe International Airport, nearly $1.9 million for Boulder City Municipal Airport, and more than $1 million for Elko Regional Airport. An additional 26 airports in Nevada received funding totaling more than $5 million.
This new funding comes from the Airport Infrastructure Grant Program authorized by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Senator Rosen helped write the airport section of the infrastructure law, which is the source of this funding for Nevada’s airports.
