LAS VEGAS, NV – U.S. Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) announced that they have helped secure more than $44 million for drinking water and clean water infrastructure in Nevada. This funding comes from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which Senators Rosen and Cortez Masto helped pass.
“Every Nevadan deserves to have access to clean water,” said Senator Rosen. “I’m proud to have helped secure millions of dollars for Nevada from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to deliver safe drinking water to families and communities across our state.”
“Nevada families deserve access to safe drinking water. I’m glad to have helped deliver this funding to protect access to clean water for families, businesses, and Tribes in Nevada,” said Senator Cortez Masto. “These federal dollars will help upgrade our water infrastructure and protect our water resources.”
Senators Rosen and Cortez Masto have been leaders in the Senate, supporting investments in clean water infrastructure in Nevada. Last fall, they announced nearly $40 million in funding for drinking water and water infrastructure projects in Nevada. They also helped pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which will continue to make historic investments in water and wastewater infrastructure improvements across the country, including through the funding for this project.
