CARSON CITY, NV – On Saturday, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) attended the annual Nevada Day Parade in Carson City. This annual parade commemorates the observed anniversary of the state’s admission to the United States on October 31, 1864. It included appearances from a variety of Nevada officials, schools, and organizations.
“As Nevadans, we are lucky to live in the greatest state in the nation and it’s always a pleasure to come together to celebrate Nevada’s founding,” said Senator Rosen. “I was thrilled to join the Nevada Day Parade in Carson City this weekend as we approach our state’s 160th anniversary. It’s my privilege to represent all Nevadans in the U.S. Senate, and I’ll keep working across the aisle to deliver for our state.”
