Rosen Congratulates Fallon Small Business on Being Named the Senate Small Business of the Week

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), a member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, released the following statement congratulating Fallon Food Hub on being named the United States Senate Small Business of the Week. Senator Rosen nominated the Fallon Food Hub for this recognition.
 
“Small businesses are the driving economic force for development and growth in Nevada and across our nation,” said Senator Rosen. “Congratulations to the Fallon Food Hub on being recognized by the Senate Small Business Committee this week. Small businesses like these not only keep our communities healthy, they also help our communities thrive. I will continue to be an advocate for the needs of small businesses in every corner of Nevada.”
 
BACKGROUND: The Fallon Food Hub is a co-operative in downtown Fallon, NV that provides a hub for local farmers, ranchers, producers to sell their nutritious and locally grown goods to the community. 
 
The Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship has jurisdiction over matters relating to the Small Business Administration and provides oversight of all programs relating to America’s small businesses. The Committee has a tradition of honoring a small business in America each week that the Senate is in session.
