On Final Day of Statewide Virtual Tour, Rosen Discusses Rural Broadband Needs in Lincoln County, Environmental Project in Eureka, Workforce Development in Elko, Hosts Small Business Roundtable in White Pine

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, on the last leg of her statewide virtual tour, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) participated in a series of events, including: a meeting on the rural broadband needs in Lincoln County with County Commissioner Bevan Lister, a discussion on the environmental restoration project in Eureka County with County Commissioner JJ Goicoechea, a meeting to discuss workforce development in Elko County with West Wendover Councilman Nick Flores and Councilwoman Kathy Durham, and a small business roundtable in White Pine County that included Ely Mayor Nathan Robertson.

“During this statewide virtual tour I had the chance to meet with Nevadans from all corners of our state to discuss how we will not only overcome the current challenges we face, but how we will build Nevada back stronger than before,” said Senator Rosen. “Whether it’s through environmental conservation projects in our state, connecting our communities through rural broadband, or ensuring our small businesses and our workforce are fully prepared for the future, I am proud and inspired to see the steps that our state is taking to improve lives and protect livelihoods.”
