Rosen Commemorates 9th Anniversary of DACA

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV), released the following statement commemorating the 9th anniversary of the creation of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

“The DACA program provides vital protections and opportunities to hundreds of thousands of Dreamers, across our nation and in Nevada. DACA ensures that Dreamers can attend college, fully contribute to our economy, serve in the military, and much more. DACA recipients contribute to our society every day and in every way. They are our teachers, frontline health care workers, business owners, servicemembers, and an integral part of American life, said Senator Rosen. “On the 9th anniversary of DACA, it is imperative that we continue to fight in Congress for comprehensive immigration reform and pave the way for Dreamers to have the same opportunities to continue to contribute to the diverse and unique fabric that makes up the United States of America.”
