“Today, 21 years since terrorists attacked our nation on September 11, 2001, the memory of the nearly 3,000 Americans who lost their lives is still alive in our hearts. On this anniversary, we recognize them, and the courage of the men and women who put themselves in harm’s way to save lives that tragic day and in the decades since. We will never forget their heroism, and we will never stop fighting for those who keep us safe.”
