Rosen Announces Subcommittee Assignments

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) announced her subcommittee assignments on the following committees: the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP); the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation; and the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
 
“Each of my subcommittee assignments will give me the opportunity to fight for Nevadans’ best interests, including working to lower health care costs and protect coverage for pre-existing conditions, supporting Nevada’s tourism industry, promoting smart infrastructure investments, and conducting oversight over federal agencies,” dijo el Senador Rosen. “I’m grateful to have been appointed to such important subcommittees and look forward to working with my colleagues from both sides of the aisle on issues crucial to Nevada families.”
 
BACKGROUND: Senator Rosen will serve on the Subcommittee on Primary Health and Retirement Security and the Subcommittee on Employment and Workplace Safety, both within the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP). 
 
In the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, Rosen will serve on the Subcommittee on Aviation and Space; the Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, Innovation, and the Internet; the Subcommittee on Manufacturing, Trade, and Consumer Protection; and the Subcommittee on Security. 
 
Rosen will also serve on the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs’ Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, as well as the Subcommittee on Regulatory Affairs and Federal Management.

In addition to the three committees listed above, Senator Rosen will also serve on the Senate Special Committee on Aging, the Senate Committee on Small Business, and the Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Control.
