RENO, NV – Yesterday, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) announced she took action to push the U.S. Department of Transportation to provide federal funding to Reno-Tahoe International Airport for the reconstruction and expansion of its terminal. Senator Rosen sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Transportation urging them to stand ready to receive and approve the airport’s application to use funds from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s Airport Terminal Project, which Senator Rosen helped create, to improve the travel experience and help the region accommodate more annual visitors.
