WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) announced that Nevada will receive $15,222,751 to help families lower their energy costs and fund energy efficient home repairs through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Senators Rosen and Cortez Masto secured this funding in the most recent government funding bill and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
“Spikes in energy prices are hurting Nevadans’ budgets, and we must do everything we can to lower costs for hardworking families,” dijo el Senador Rosen. “As the winter season approaches, I’m proud to have helped secure more than $15 million to help bring down heating costs for Nevada families.”
“Thousands of Nevadans rely on this funding to help pay their energy bills and make critical upgrades to their homes ahead of the winter season,” said Senator Cortez Masto. “I’ll always support efforts to lower costs for our working families.”
