Nonpartisan CQ Roll Call Ranked Senator Rosen As One Of The Top Three Most Independent Democratic Senators Because of Her Bipartisan Voting Record
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) was recently ranked by the nonpartisan CQ Roll Call as one of the top three most independent Democratic Senators for her 2023 voting record. Last year, Rosen broke with her party leaders on votes that would have hurt Nevada’s farmers and ranchers, affected law enforcement’s ability to address crime, and undermined national security by failing to hold Iran accountable as a bad actor and state sponsor of terrorism in the Middle East.
“Being an independent voice for Nevada is one of my guiding principles in the U.S. Senate, and I’ll work with anyone – Republican, Democrat, or Independent — to stand up for hardworking families, our state’s unique economy, and our national security,” dijo el Senador Rosen. “I’m proud of the bipartisan work I’ve done on behalf of our state, and I’ll always put Nevada first, above politics or party loyalty.”
Senator Rosen has been named one of the most bipartisan senators, one of the most effective Democratic Senators, and the most centrist member of the Nevada congressional delegation.
Last Congress, Senator Rosen also broke with her own party leaders on more than two dozen votes – including votes to surge resources and increase security at the southern border.
